CentraView, LLC is a developer of Open Source Centralized Business Management (CBM) software and services, based on Java (J2EE) and built on MySQL database.

Products

Commercial and Open Source versions of CentraView’s products are available in hosted and downloadable versions. Its license is based on Mozilla Public License 1.1, with some changes. CentraView released version 2.0 alpha of its suite on November 16, 2004 for Linux and Windows 2000/XP.

CentraView’s Open Source CBM suite includes a combination of Contact Management, Sales Force Automation (SFA), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functionality.

The company offers its applications and services globally through its Open Source and channel partner initiatives. In the future, CentraView plans to provide interfaces to work with Quicken, MYOB and other systems.


Competition

CentraView is a competitor to NetSuite Inc., the leading ASP in the CBM field. Unlike CentraView, NetSuite offers accounting packages with localized connections to deliver payments/wages via banking and payroll systems in different countries; CentraView’s software, on the other hand, is Open Source, and can be downloaded and customized.
